Senior Account Executive (National Labs & Federal Health)
Red Cell Partners is seeking a Senior Account Executive to drive new business development within the national laboratory complex and federal health sectors. This role involves engaging with military services and Combatant Commands, managing the sales cycle from initial contact to contract award. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in selling enterprise software and services to the public sector, particularly in startup or early-stage environments.
Key responsibilities include developing territory strategies in collaboration with the Chief Strategy Officer and executive leadership, sourcing and closing new business opportunities, and expanding existing accounts. The role also involves navigating complex procurement processes, identifying funding opportunities, and building strong relationships with clients at all levels. Additionally, the Senior Account Executive will provide valuable feedback to the product team based on client needs and maintain disciplined CRM practices.
Candidates should have at least 8 years of experience in selling technology to the federal government, with a focus on new business and demonstrated success in either the national labs or federal health sectors. A strong understanding of the unique procurement processes in these areas is essential. The role requires U.S. citizenship and a bachelor's degree or equivalent operational experience.
Compensation includes a base salary ranging from $175,000 to $370,000, with additional on-target earnings and equity incentives.
