The Senior Analyst, Legal Operations at BigCommerce will lead the Legal team's daily operations, collaborating closely with in-house attorneys and leadership to define and drive team goals, strategic priorities, and project portfolios. This role involves improving intake and workflow management, scaling Legal support through systems, analytics, automation, and AI-enabled processes, and providing day-to-day direction on legal analyst workflow, priorities, and execution. The position is based in Austin, Texas, and offers a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities include coordinating workflow, prioritizing requests, and ensuring timely, high-quality execution across the Legal team. The Senior Analyst will oversee the workflow of other Legal Analysts, define priorities, process preferences, and ensure consistent application of legal operations standards. They will lead legal operations initiatives across intake, triage, contracting workflow, knowledge management, and service delivery to improve efficiency, consistency, and scalability. Additionally, the role involves developing and implementing legal processes, playbooks, standard operating procedures, templates, and best practices across the Legal team.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree and over 5 years of relevant experience in legal operations, contract management, paralegal operations, corporate legal support, or a similar in-house legal environment. Demonstrated experience leading projects, coordinating workflows, or serving as a functional lead in a fast-paced environment is essential. A strong operational mindset with experience improving processes, building playbooks, and driving execution across multiple stakeholders is required. Experience using or evaluating legal technology, workflow tools, automation solutions, and generative AI tools and platforms to improve efficiency and scale is also necessary.
