Senior Analytics Engineer, RegTech
The Senior Analytics Engineer, RegTech at DriveWealth will be a key member of the Regulatory Technology team, focusing on developing data products that support the compliance department in meeting regulatory obligations. This role involves creating, maintaining, and monitoring curated data sources and statistics essential for both internal compliance and external regulatory reporting. DriveWealth is a global B2B financial technology firm dedicated to democratizing access to financial independence through its API-based platform, enabling seamless investing and trading experiences worldwide.
Key responsibilities include architecting and maintaining data marts and Sigma reports for critical regulatory functions such as CAT, EBS, trade monitoring, and AML. The engineer will work directly with business partners and compliance teams to translate regulatory requirements into precise analytics engineering solutions, ensuring accurate and efficient data flows. Additionally, the role involves responding to ad-hoc data requests and regulatory examinations, implementing robust data quality controls, and documenting data procedures in line with internal audit and regulatory standards.
Candidates should possess deep domain knowledge in FinTech and capital markets, with a strong understanding of the trade and order lifecycle and U.S. regulatory reporting requirements. Experience working within larger data teams, balancing solution ideation, output creation, verification testing, and peer reviews is essential. Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with DBT are required, along with experience in building business intelligence reports, preferably using Sigma Computing. Additional skills in Python, NoSQL, Databricks, AWS, Airflow, GitHub, and AGILE development are advantageous but not mandatory.
