As a Senior Appian Consultant at Appian Corporation, you will play a pivotal role in delivering innovative software solutions that drive digital transformation for our clients. This position is integral to our Customer Success team, which is dedicated to ensuring exceptional outcomes by partnering with clients to bring their best ideas to life. Appian is a leading software company specializing in process automation technology, known for its reliability and scalability in automating complex processes for large enterprises and governments.

In this role, you will engage with clients post-sales to develop custom software applications using the Appian platform. Your responsibilities will encompass the entire project lifecycle, including defining business processes, gathering functional and technical requirements, designing and implementing solutions, and integrating with multiple systems. You will work within an agile environment, collaborating closely with clients to understand their technical needs and delivering applications that provide competitive differentiation.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for mentoring and developing others, with experience leading small teams through post-sale software implementations. Strong communication skills are essential, along with a continuous learning mindset and the ability to ask the right questions to solve complex problems. A solid understanding of object-oriented programming, experience with relational databases and data modeling, and proficiency in SQL are required. Familiarity with software testing practices, API integrations, and cloud technologies such as AWS is preferred.
