Senior C# Backend Engineer
OPSWAT is seeking a Senior C# Backend Engineer to join our team in Veszprém, Hungary, focusing on the development of MetaDefender Secure Managed File Transfer (MFT). This role involves collaborating with engineers, security experts, and researchers to design and build backend services that power our secure file transfer platform. As a key player in our cybersecurity-focused company, you will contribute to developing cutting-edge software solutions that protect critical infrastructure from evolving cyber threats.
In this position, you will enhance the Secure Managed File Transfer solution by implementing new business requirements and participating in the design and architecture of emerging products to ensure a scalable backend system. Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining automation workflows to streamline deployment and operational efficiency, creating and solidifying CI/CD pipelines for reliable software delivery, and defining static and dynamic code analysis requirements to maintain high-quality and secure codebases.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of C# programming experience and proficiency in version management, preferably with Git. Experience with additional programming languages such as C++, Python, or Node.js is advantageous. Strong English communication skills are essential, along with a willingness to learn new technologies and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Experience with CI/CD processes, containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, and cloud solutions such as AWS or Azure is beneficial. A commitment to test automation and familiarity with AI tools to enhance efficiency and creativity are also valued.
