Senior Cloud Engineer
GHX, a leading healthcare technology company, is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to join their Product Development team in Hyderabad, India. The role involves leading the design, implementation, and operation of GHX's cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, performance, security, and cost optimization. As a technical leader, the Senior Cloud Engineer will mentor junior and mid-level engineers, driving innovation and compliance in cloud environments.
Key responsibilities include designing and implementing cloud-native architectures and hybrid cloud solutions, overseeing cloud engineering projects to ensure secure and cost-effective solutions, and contributing to high-level architectural planning and strategic technology decisions. The role also involves reviewing and approving design proposals, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates, and automation workflows, as well as identifying risks in design and implementation plans and developing mitigation strategies.
Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. A minimum of 5 years in cloud engineering or IT infrastructure with increasing technical leadership responsibilities is required. Deep expertise in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP) and familiarity with multi-cloud environments is essential. Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and automation tools (e.g., GitHub/GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines) is necessary. Advanced knowledge of networking, container orchestration (Kubernetes/EKS/ECS), and operating systems is expected. Hands-on experience with VMware virtualization (vSphere/ESXi) and Microsoft Hyper-V failover clustering using Storage Spaces Direct (S2D) for hyperconverged infrastructure is advantageous.
