Senior Corporate Counsel, Employment
Tipalti is seeking a Senior Corporate Counsel specializing in employment law to join our dynamic legal team. As a key member of the legal department, you will provide strategic legal guidance on employment-related matters, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations across our global operations. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment within a company that is revolutionizing finance automation.
In this position, you will be responsible for advising on a wide range of employment issues, including but not limited to employee relations, compensation and benefits, performance management, and workplace policies. You will collaborate closely with HR and management teams to develop and implement policies that align with business objectives while mitigating legal risks. Additionally, you will oversee employment-related litigation and manage relationships with external counsel as needed.
The ideal candidate will possess a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and be admitted to practice law. A minimum of 7 years of experience in employment law, with a strong background in advising on complex employment matters, is required. Experience in a corporate legal department, particularly within the technology or fintech sectors, is highly desirable. Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills are essential for success in this role.
