The Senior Counsel, Commercial and Compliance at Mineralys Therapeutics will serve as the primary legal advisor to the Commercial and Medical Affairs teams, providing strategic counsel across pre-launch and launch activities. This role is integral to supporting commercialization readiness, including promotional strategy, market access, patient services, and distribution models. The position reports directly to the Chief Legal Officer and is fully remote.

Key responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements, such as vendor contracts, patient support programs, speaker programs, distribution, and market access agreements. The Senior Counsel will lead the legal review of promotional and medical materials through MLR/PRC processes and advise on interactions with healthcare professionals, patients, payors, specialty pharmacies, and government entities. Additionally, the role involves supporting commercial and medical affairs activities, including speaker programs, advisory boards, sponsorships, grants, medical information requests, and scientific exchange.

The ideal candidate will have a J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction. They should possess 8–12+ years of legal experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry, with in-house experience preferred. Proven experience supporting commercial build and product launch is essential, along with deep knowledge of healthcare and compliance laws and regulations, including FDA, OIG, PhRMA Code, Anti-Kickback, False Claims Act, and Sunshine Act. Strong experience with MLR/PRC review, promotional regulations, and compliance program development is also required.

Mineralys Therapeutics offers a competitive salary range of $250,000 to $285,000, along with standard company benefits, including medical, dental, vision, time off, and a 401(k) plan. Participation in Mineralys incentive plans is contingent on the achievement of personal and company performance. Actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level.
