As a Senior Counsel, Commercial at Together AI, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the company's rapid growth by providing legal guidance on commercial transactions. You will engage with various companies developing AI-driven products and businesses, negotiating and managing agreements with customers, suppliers, and partners. This position offers the opportunity to shape the legal function within a dynamic AI startup.

Your primary responsibilities will include leading the negotiation, drafting, and review of key customer and supplier contracts, as well as debt financing and other commercial agreements. You will collaborate closely with internal teams such as sales, business development, and product to provide expert legal advice, ensuring contracts effectively manage legal risks while facilitating business growth. Additionally, you will develop and refine contract templates, implement processes for contract lifecycle management, and build a deep understanding of the company's product offerings.

The ideal candidate will have over eight years of relevant legal experience, preferably with some in-house counsel experience at a technology company. You should possess deep experience in negotiating and drafting technology infrastructure hardware/software customer contracts, as well as various other commercial agreements. Strong legal and business judgment, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight timelines are essential. A J.D. degree from an ABA-approved law school and admission to the California bar are required.
