Senior Counsel, Consumer Litigation
Coinbase is seeking a Senior Counsel to lead its Consumer Litigation team, focusing on managing consumer arbitration and litigation matters across the United States. The Senior Counsel will oversee a fast-paced docket of consumer litigation and arbitration, develop and execute Coinbase's global consumer litigation strategy, and provide strategic direction to internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities include drafting and filing pleadings, managing outside counsel, and collaborating with other legal team members to address complex legal challenges.
Candidates should have over six years of litigation experience, including managing strategic litigation and consumer class actions. Strong negotiation skills, the ability to manage an expanding litigation practice, and excellent judgment are essential. A Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and membership in a U.S. state bar in good standing are required.
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $224,995 to $264,700 USD, excluding equity and bonus eligibility. Total compensation may also include benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plans.
