Senior Data Engineer

Cachet is a rapidly growing insurtech company dedicated to empowering the platform economy by providing fair, flexible, and data-driven insurance solutions. We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our dynamic team in Tallinn, Estonia, to help us build and maintain scalable data pipelines that transform raw insurance and platform data into reliable, structured datasets.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing data models and analytics integrations to support reporting, dashboards, and advanced analytics for various teams, including Product, Finance, and Insurance. You will collaborate closely with our data scientist, engineers, product manager, and stakeholders from Sales, Insurance, and Finance to lead end-to-end data engineering projects, ensuring data quality, governance, and best practices.

The ideal candidate will possess strong Python and SQL skills, experience with building ETL workflows using Airflow, and proficiency in relational databases like PostgreSQL. Familiarity with AWS and Docker is essential, along with excellent communication skills and a passion for turning complex data into actionable insights. Experience in the insurance, mobility, or gig economy industries, as well as migrating ETL systems, is a plus.
