Senior Data Engineer

Mesh is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join their team in San Francisco, CA. The company is dedicated to enabling consumers to pay and be paid with any asset, bridging the gap between tokenized assets and everyday commerce. In this role, the Senior Data Engineer will be responsible for defining, instrumenting, validating, and shipping data across various platforms. Key tasks include owning product and client analytics, defining core metrics, building internal and external dashboards, conducting experiment readouts, ensuring data integrity, shaping instrumentation, and building finance-grade reporting.

Candidates should have expertise in SQL (T-SQL/SQL Server and Spark SQL), proficiency in Python, and experience with product analytics tools like Amplitude or Mixpanel. A strong background in experiment design, statistics for A/B testing, building data quality checks, and end-to-end ownership of a data domain is also required.

The compensation range for this position is $180,000 to $200,000 USD, excluding commission, equity, and benefits. Employees based in San Francisco are expected to work from the office at least 40% of the time.
