Senior Data Scientist, Consumer Pricing
Wolt is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join our Consumer Pricing and Discounts Data Science team. This team is dedicated to developing fair, transparent, and compliant pricing and discount solutions that provide clear value to our consumers, with a strong emphasis on affordability. We work collaboratively across functions to achieve both short-term and long-term business objectives, balancing topline impact with bottom-line profitability. Our Data Scientists partner closely with Strategy & Operations, Product, and Engineering teams to conduct experiments, perform advanced data analysis, develop algorithmic models, and generate operational reports to enhance our consumer pricing and incentives strategies.
In this role, you will delve into our data to address critical business challenges. As a versatile generalist, you will bridge pricing and growth initiatives, connecting the dots across functions to drive business impact. You will thrive in a cross-functional environment, bringing strong business judgment and the ability to balance priorities within a dynamic team. Your responsibilities will span the full lifecycle—from research and discovery to modeling and experimentation. You will define success through clear measurement frameworks, identify business opportunities, and track performance via reporting, turning insights into action and influencing outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have over five years of experience in an analytics or data science role, with proficiency in SQL and Python or R. You should have prior experience building intuitive data visualizations and dashboards that influence business decisions, utilizing tools like Tableau, Mixpanel, Looker, or similar. Strong business acumen and the ability to connect analytical work—such as models, research, and frameworks—to real business impact are essential.
