Key responsibilities include defining and driving the long-term data engineering strategy aligned with strategic business priorities, partnering with business and product leaders to identify valuable data opportunities, and developing a high-performance engineering culture. The role also involves leading the design and execution of SIE's connected data ecosystem, delivering AI-ready data pipelines, and ensuring all data engineering outputs meet enterprise standards for security, privacy, and compliance.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data engineering or related fields, with deep expertise in designing and scaling enterprise-grade data solutions. Proven success in building and optimizing modern data platforms using technologies such as Databricks, Snowflake, and Kafka is essential. Strong leadership experience in building and mentoring high-performing global engineering teams, along with exceptional communication and collaboration skills, are also required. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
