Senior Ecosystem Engineer

The Senior Ecosystem Engineer will play a pivotal role in advancing PlayStation's expanding hardware product ecosystem. This position is part of the Product Development team, which focuses on developing future hardware products and gaming experiences that extend beyond the traditional console environment.

Key responsibilities include authoring and maintaining product specifications and validation plans for the PlayStation ecosystem. The engineer will lead product validation activities at external test laboratories and collaborate closely with both internal and external engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality of new features and technologies.

Candidates should possess a proven track record in validating and qualifying consumer hardware products that incorporate software components. Strong technical writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential. A deep understanding of hardware and software system integration testing, along with experience using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Jira, is required. Leadership experience in managing small to medium-sized projects is also desirable.

The role offers a competitive base salary ranging from $193,300 to $289,900 USD, depending on experience and qualifications.
