The Senior Finance Manager at Mercuryo will oversee local finance operations, including financial control, liquidity management, and financial planning and analysis (FP&A). This role involves supervising a junior finance analyst and ensuring alignment with group-wide processes and reporting standards. Mercuryo is a fintech company blending traditional banking with decentralized finance (DeFi) to provide seamless access to Web3 and traditional financial services.

Key responsibilities include managing daily liquidity across banks, acquirers, exchanges, and wallets, approving fund transfers, and ensuring month-end financial data integrity. The role also involves reviewing reconciliations, acting as a bank payment approver, and overseeing access rights across financial platforms. Additionally, the Senior Finance Manager will deliver monthly management reporting, provide variance analysis, monitor overheads, and support forecasting and budgeting processes.

The ideal candidate is a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with over five years of experience in financial control, FinOps, or FP&A. They should have strong experience in liquidity management, reconciliations, and month-end close processes, as well as a solid background in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling. Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, experience with ERP systems and BI tools, and an analytical mindset with attention to detail are essential. Experience in fintech, payments, or high-volume transactional businesses is advantageous.

Mercuryo offers a competitive market-rate salary with performance-based incentives, 22 days of annual leave plus additional company days and bank holidays, comprehensive health insurance plans, and flexible work schedules with remote work options. Employees also have access to professional development and training opportunities, modern offices and co-working spaces across six countries, and a diverse and friendly team environment.

Joining Mercuryo means becoming part of a company at the forefront of Web3 and decentralized finance, collaborating with over 300 professionals from diverse backgrounds. The company fosters a flexible, remote-first culture that empowers employees to take ownership of their work and contribute to shaping the future of finance.
