The Senior Financial Analyst, Corporate FP&A at Canva plays a pivotal role within the Financial Planning and Analysis team, contributing to Canva's mission of empowering the world to design. Key responsibilities include consolidating and analyzing company-wide financial data, preparing monthly forecasts, and building comprehensive financial models to evaluate business performance. The Senior Financial Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver critical financial insights and scenario analysis that guide both short-term and long-term strategic planning. Day-to-day work involves updating and reviewing forecasts, analyzing variances, and assisting in preparation for board- and executive-level presentations.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience in FP&A or similar finance roles, ideally within a high-growth tech or fast-paced corporate environment. Strong analytical skills, proficiency with Excel and financial modeling, and experience in business planning systems such as Anaplan or similar are essential. A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or a related field is required, with professional qualifications (such as CA or CPA) viewed favorably. Exceptional communication and the ability to partner across the business are critical.
