The Senior Financial Analyst, Corporate FP&A at Canva plays a pivotal role within the Financial Planning and Analysis team, contributing to Canva's mission of empowering the world to design. As part of one of Australia’s most prominent tech companies, the analyst will work closely with various business units to provide financial expertise that informs company-wide planning and forecasting.

Key responsibilities include consolidating and analyzing company-wide financial data, preparing monthly forecasts, and building comprehensive financial models to evaluate business performance. The Senior Financial Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver critical financial insights and scenario analysis that guide both short-term and long-term strategic planning. Day-to-day work involves updating and reviewing forecasts, analyzing variances, and assisting in preparation for board- and executive-level presentations.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in FP&A or similar finance roles, ideally within a high-growth tech or fast-paced corporate environment. Strong analytical skills, proficiency with Excel and financial modeling, and experience in business planning systems such as Anaplan or similar are essential. A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or a related field is required, with professional qualifications (such as CA or CPA) viewed favorably. Exceptional communication and the ability to partner across the business are critical.
