Senior Frontend Engineer
Legion is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our team in Bucharest, Romania. As a member of our engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in developing and enhancing our high-performance, data-driven Java enterprise application. This application implements sophisticated scheduling and optimization algorithms and provides essential endpoints for our web and mobile frontend applications.
In this role, you will be responsible for writing secure, efficient, and enterprise-quality code. You will plan and conduct architecture sessions, design and build enhancements and extensions, and create plans for integration and unit testing. Additionally, you will actively set and manage expectations, understand and adapt to customer organizations and cultures, and manage difficult situations in a calm and structured manner. Participation in an on-call rotation is also required.
The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience working with AngularJS and React technologies, with a preference for those experienced in upgrading from AngularJS to React. Proficiency in CSS3, HTML/HTML5, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and jQuery, including cross-browser compatibility issues, is essential. Familiarity with Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, MySQL, and JSON is beneficial. Experience with containerization and cloud deployments, particularly on AWS, is desirable. A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field is required.
