Senior Frontend Engineer - Product/Features (Remote across ANZ)

Canva is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join their Product/Features team, focusing on developing and enhancing user-facing applications across various product surfaces. This role offers the flexibility to work remotely across Australia and New Zealand, aligning with Canva's commitment to empowering employees to choose their optimal work environment.

In this position, the engineer will lead the design and development of performant, delightful user interfaces using modern frontend frameworks. Collaboration with Product Managers, designers, and fellow engineers is essential to scope, define, and deliver impactful product features. The role also involves evolving and scaling Canva’s frontend architecture through reusable component libraries and shared design systems.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in building complex, user-facing applications using modern frontend technologies, particularly React and TypeScript. A strong foundation in JavaScript and a deep understanding of the web platform are crucial. The candidate should be comfortable taking ownership of features end-to-end, from architecture to delivery, and thrive in environments where they drive the "how."
