In this role, the engineer will be responsible for creating and deploying services and applications related to automated employee lifecycle management. This includes maintaining and developing Wolt’s custom-built automation engine and internally directed full-stack applications. Collaboration with various stakeholder groups is essential to provide automated solutions that assist in their day-to-day tasks. Additionally, the role involves preparing instructions and documentation for developed applications, maintaining and improving existing codebases, and proactively identifying and resolving potential needs for employees. Working closely with other IT functions to help maintain a world-class employee experience is also a key aspect of the position.
The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge of Python, Flask, FastAPI, React, Vue.js, Pytest, and PostgreSQL, along with other data storage solutions. A strong interest and relevant experience in software engineering and automation are essential. The candidate should be someone who keeps up with automation trends and tries out new technology. Professional communication skills and fluency in English are required. A quick thinker who rolls up their sleeves and always finds solutions is highly valued. Willingness to travel if needed is also expected.
