The Senior Global UX Writer (Content Systems and Taxonomy) at Wellhub is a pivotal role within the Consumer Digital Experience team, focusing on designing and scaling the structural language system behind the company's product. This position requires a systems thinker who defines how content is classified, governed, and scaled globally, ensuring the product communicates clearly and consistently across features, teams, and markets.

Key responsibilities include architecting and evolving classification systems to define how activities, plans, and benefits are grouped across the product, shaping user discovery. The role involves designing grouping logic that powers search results, activity lists, filters, app descriptions, and indexing systems, ensuring consistency at scale. Additionally, the position entails establishing and governing a terminology system to create a single source of truth for business-critical terms, eliminating ambiguity across various departments.

The ideal candidate possesses over five years of experience in UX writing, content design, content strategy, information architecture, taxonomy design, localization, or related system-level content work, preferably within global or multi-market products. Proven experience in building or maintaining classification systems, controlled vocabularies, glossaries, canonical term databases, or structured content models is essential. A deep understanding of localization, including translation workflows, string management, variable structures, and internationalization constraints, is also required.

Compensation for this role ranges from $116,513 to $145,641 annually, depending on geographic location, relevant experience, skills, and qualifications. Benefits include a free Gold-level Wellhub membership for the employee and up to three family members, comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) match, flexible work options, a minimum of 25 days PTO per year, and up to 12 weeks of 100% paid parental leave for all new parents.

Wellhub fosters a culture that values wellbeing, collaboration, and diverse perspectives. The company emphasizes continuous learning and feedback to support personal and professional growth, offering access to world-class platforms, interactive sessions, personalized development roadmaps, and internal opportunities. Joining Wellhub means contributing to a mission that aims to make every company a wellness company, shaping a healthier, more balanced world for millions globally.
