Senior Lawyer or Senior Associate - Litigation and Dispute Resolution
McCullough Robertson is seeking a Senior Lawyer or Senior Associate to join their Litigation and Dispute Resolution team in Brisbane. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced partners and professionals on high-profile, complex disputes across various industries, including energy, resources, manufacturing, and government sectors. The successful candidate will manage a diverse caseload involving areas such as insolvency, corporate compliance, defamation, intellectual property, and white-collar crime. Responsibilities include providing strategic legal advice, drafting and reviewing legal documents, representing clients in court proceedings, and contributing to the development of the firm's litigation practice. Collaboration with team members and active participation in business development initiatives are also key aspects of the role.
Applicants should possess between four and six years of post-admission experience in commercial litigation, ideally gained within a mid to large-sized firm. Strong technical capabilities, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to navigate complex legal issues with precision are essential. A proactive approach to client management, the ability to build strong relationships, and a genuine passion for commercial litigation are also required.
