Senior Legal Counsel-Corporate Governance
As Senior Legal Counsel-Corporate Governance at Faraday Future, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's legal framework as it continues to innovate in the mobility and robotics sectors. Reporting directly to the General Counsel, you will collaborate with senior leadership to ensure compliance with public company requirements and oversee various legal functions critical to the organization's success.
Your primary responsibilities will include leading public company compliance efforts, managing SEC filings, and overseeing government reporting on compliance matters. You will be tasked with reviewing and negotiating a wide range of contracts, such as supply chain agreements, consulting contracts, and securities purchase agreements. Additionally, you will develop and implement comprehensive programs for legal and ethical compliance, conduct internal investigations, and provide counsel on governance and regulatory issues.
The ideal candidate will possess a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar. A minimum of 10 years of relevant legal experience is required, including substantial in-house and/or law firm experience supporting public companies. Experience in industries such as high-tech consumer electronics, internet AI, or automotive is preferred. Strong knowledge of securities laws, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance is essential, along with excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills.
Faraday Future offers a competitive annual salary range of $159,000 to $200,000, depending on experience, along with benefits and incentive plans.
