Senior Legal Counsel (m/f/d) - 12-month fixed-term contract

In this position, the Senior Legal Counsel will collaborate with business stakeholders to strategize contracting mechanisms that manage risks and protect business interests. Responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal agreements such as client and vendor contracts, Master Services Agreements, and joint venture agreements. The role also involves developing and maintaining standard contracting templates, supporting the delivery of the Legal Strategy within the region, and providing proactive, strategic, and commercially-centered legal advice to the Regional Country Board and Regional Management team.
Candidates should be qualified solicitors or attorneys with a current practicing certificate and fluency in both Dutch and English. A minimum of 8-10 years of post-qualification experience is required, with significant experience in in-house legal roles within global organizations. Extensive experience in Corporate and Commercial law, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance is essential, and experience in construction law is a plus. Advanced negotiation skills for high-stakes contracts and dispute settlements, along with proficiency in legal research and staying abreast of legislative changes, are also necessary.
