As a (Senior) Legal Counsel at Isar Aerospace, you will be an integral part of the Legal & Regulatory department, collaborating closely with the Director of Legal & Regulatory and the in-house legal team. Your role will involve providing comprehensive legal advice across various business areas, including corporate governance, commercial transactions, compliance, and contract management. You will work alongside departments such as finance, commercial, technical, business development, corporate, and supply chain to manage legal risks and ensure compliance throughout the company's operations.

Your key responsibilities will include supporting daily legal operations and offering advice on a wide range of legal issues related to commercial and supply chain contracts, compliance, data protection, intellectual property rights, and contract management, with a particular focus on corporate law and corporate governance. You will provide legal support to internal stakeholders, ensuring adherence to applicable laws and regulations, assist in corporate transactions and strategic projects, monitor compliance with relevant laws and internal policies, draft and review legal documents, and contribute to the improvement of processes and policies as the company grows. Additionally, you will support cross-functional teams with legal input in a solution-oriented and business-focused manner, contribute to compliance programs, and create awareness materials to standardize processes and increase knowledge of legal issues.

The ideal candidate will possess a full graduate degree in Law, preferably from a German university or within the German-speaking community, and have at least 4-5 years of practical experience in a reputable law firm or in-house legal department. A solid understanding and experience in corporate law are essential, with additional knowledge in German corporate law and compliance considered a plus. The role requires the ability to understand complex issues and provide timely, practical, and solution-oriented recommendations. Candidates should be autonomous, organized, and rigorous, with strong analytical abilities, critical thinking skills, and excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external parties. Fluency in both English and German is required.
