Senior Localization Engineer, Applied AI
The Senior Localization Engineer, Applied AI at Tenable, Inc. is a pivotal technical lead responsible for advancing the company's multilingual delivery infrastructure. This role combines strategic architectural direction with hands-on expertise in multilingual content engineering, system integration, and workflow automation. The position is based in Dublin, Ireland, and reports to the Senior Director of Globalisation.
In this role, the engineer will lead the transition from automated to AI-driven localization workflows, focusing initially on product user interfaces. They will extend AI-led pipeline models across various content areas, including online documentation and marketing materials, ensuring a consistent and efficient global content delivery system. Additionally, the engineer will define technical best practices, establish system hygiene norms, and create engineering documentation to support the team's initiatives.
Candidates should possess an AI-forward mindset, with hands-on experience integrating large language models (LLMs) and agentic steps into engineering workflows. A strong background in internationalization and localization engineering, including expertise in string externalization and familiarity with various localization file formats, is essential. Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript and Python, along with a solid understanding of CI/CD and DevOps principles, is also required.
