Mineralys Therapeutics is seeking a Senior Manager of Accounting Operations to oversee procurement, accounts payable, payroll, and general operational accounting workflows. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate, efficient, and SOX-compliant accounting operations across the organization. The ideal candidate will bring deep operational expertise, strong leadership skills, and experience supporting a high-growth life sciences environment. This remote position is based in Colorado, with regular bi-monthly, in-person meetings with the Finance team in the Boulder region.

Key responsibilities include managing end-to-end procure-to-pay processes, ensuring alignment with policies, internal controls, and SOX requirements. The role involves leading and developing team members across procurement, accounts payable, and payroll, fostering continuous improvement and operational excellence. Additionally, the Senior Manager will optimize financial systems and tools, including NetSuite, TriNet, FloQast, and Tipalti, to enhance automation, workflow efficiency, and reporting. Collaboration with Finance, Legal, HR, and other stakeholders is essential to ensure cross-functional alignment and smooth operational processes.

The position requires a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, with an advanced degree preferred. Candidates should have over 8 years of progressive experience in accounting operations, including procurement, accounts payable, and payroll. Experience in the life sciences sector is strongly preferred, along with familiarity with SOX compliance in a public company environment. Proficiency with ERP systems such as NetSuite and other tools like TriNet, FloQast, and Tipalti is essential. Demonstrated success in managing teams and improving operational workflows is also required.

The salary range for this position is $145,000 to $160,000 annually. The role is eligible for standard company benefits, including medical, dental, vision, time off, and 401(k). Participation in Mineralys incentive plans is contingent on the achievement of personal and company performance goals. Actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level.
