As the Senior Manager of Analytics & Insights at Weedmaps, you will lead a cross-functional team responsible for transforming data into actionable intelligence and strategic recommendations across the organization. Reporting to the VP of Data, this role bridges technical data infrastructure and business decision-making, aiming to shift from reactive reporting to proactive insight generation.

Key responsibilities include defining and executing the analytics strategy across business intelligence, analytics, and data science functions to align with company objectives. You will own the organization's metrics framework, ensuring consistency and accuracy of key performance indicators, and lead the development of self-service analytics capabilities, including dashboard infrastructure and AI-powered tools. Additionally, you will drive strategic insights to enhance decision-making and collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize data workstreams.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Business, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field, with a master's degree preferred. A minimum of 8 years of experience in product analytics or business intelligence, including at least 3 years in a management role, is required. Strong proficiency in SQL, familiarity with cloud data warehouses like Snowflake, and experience managing mixed-discipline teams are essential. Excellent executive communication skills and a proven ability to influence decisions at the VP/C-suite level are also necessary.
