Senior Manager, Strategic Finance
Radar is seeking a Senior Manager of Strategic Finance to collaborate directly with the CFO and executive team on pivotal strategic initiatives. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence key decisions, including product pricing, market expansion, capital allocation, and investor relations. As a generalist position, it requires adaptability and the ability to navigate complex, ambiguous challenges. The role is based in New York, NY, or the San Francisco Bay Area.
In this capacity, the Senior Manager will lead comprehensive strategic analyses, from problem identification and data collection to modeling and recommendation formulation. Responsibilities include developing frameworks to address ambiguous issues, supporting the CFO and executive team on various high-priority projects, and constructing models for market sizing and opportunity assessments in new verticals and geographies. The role also involves building go-to-market financial strategies for new vertical entries and creating international market prioritization frameworks.
Candidates should possess a strong background in strategic finance, with experience in financial modeling, market analysis, and business case development. Proficiency in building and refining unit economics frameworks, such as customer acquisition cost (CAC), lifetime value (LTV), payback period, and gross margin by customer segment, is essential. The ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Product, and Customer Success, to test pricing assumptions and enhance monetization strategies is also crucial.
