Senior Manager Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting

Celonis is seeking a Senior Manager of Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting to oversee financial reporting, technical accounting, and M&A activities. Reporting to the SVP, Group Controller, this role is integral to the finance organization, ensuring accurate financial results and proper accounting treatment across various departments.

Key responsibilities include managing US GAAP and external reporting requirements, supporting IFRS and statutory reporting, identifying and resolving complex accounting matters, leading policy initiatives, and implementing new accounting standards. The role also involves leading financial M&A due diligence, integrating transactions, managing valuation exercises, and supporting areas such as equity investments and stock-based compensation.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in accounting, CPA certification, and has over 5 years of experience in public accounting or private industry, preferably with Big 4 experience. Strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements, and expertise in technical accounting issues are essential. Experience with M&A due diligence, valuations, and purchase accounting is also required.
