Senior Manager, Web Strategy
The Senior Manager, Web Strategy at Motive will lead the development and execution of web strategies that align with project goals. This role involves collaborating with Marketing, Engineering, Creative, and Product teams to create site experiences for campaigns, product initiatives, tests, and ongoing programs, ensuring accurate messaging, timing, and capabilities needed for execution. The position operates as a player/coach, managing a small team while owning individual projects end to end.
Key responsibilities include analyzing and monitoring page performance and user behavior across site landing pages, generating data-driven hypotheses to inform strategies, and uncovering areas of opportunity to improve the customer experience. The role requires developing a deep understanding of members and site visitors through data, insights, and cross-functional partnerships, using those insights to inform site strategy. Additionally, the Senior Manager will collaborate with the Content Marketing team on SEO initiatives and content opportunities to improve website visibility and performance.
The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of website management and strategy experience, with a growth mindset and the ability to take ownership and operate as a pace setter. Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders is essential. Experience using data and insights to inform requirements, ideas, and strategies, with hands-on experience with web tools including CMS (WordPress), A/B testing tools, site analytics, and other business intelligence tools, is required. A demonstrated understanding of SEO fundamentals and the interaction between site architecture and content to deliver organic traffic performance is also necessary.
