Senior Network Engineer
The Senior Network Engineer at Clifford Chance is a pivotal role within the Global IT Operations team, focusing on the design, implementation, and support of the firm's enterprise-scale network infrastructure. This position ensures the delivery of secure, stable, and scalable network services across the organization, collaborating closely with Network Operations, Infrastructure Services, and stakeholders across various regions.
Key responsibilities include defining and enforcing network and security standards, leading the design and delivery of network and network security projects, and producing technical documentation such as high-level and low-level designs. The role also involves identifying and correcting non-compliance issues, shaping the strategic direction for network services, maintaining a delivery roadmap for network products, and supporting investment planning through business case development and budget preparation.
The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in network and network security within a global enterprise-scale organization, with a minimum of 2-3 years in a similar engineering role. Expertise in Next-Generation Firewalls, SASE, routing and switching, network access control, wireless LAN controllers, and load balancing is essential. Strong communication and analytical skills, along with a high level of commercial awareness, are also required.
