Senior People Business Partner, R&D
FloQast is seeking a strategically-minded Senior People Business Partner to serve as the dedicated resource for our Research & Development (R&D) Group. In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between complex technical objectives and human capital strategy, acting as a trusted advisor to the Chief Technology Officer and the broader R&D leadership team. Your mission will be to ensure that our organizational structure, leadership pipeline, and talent initiatives are perfectly synchronized with our product roadmap.
As the Senior People Business Partner, you will align people strategies—including workforce planning, organizational design, and culture initiatives—with the technical roadmap and release cycles. You will lead the evolution of our technical career ladders, ensuring engineers and product managers have clear, transparent growth paths from Individual Contributor to Principal/Architect levels, as well as dual paths into Management. Additionally, you will foster an R&D environment that balances high-velocity delivery, customer demands, and roadmap deliverables while continuing to harness and develop the R&D culture to be relentless, competitive, and balanced.
The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of HR Business Partner experience, with a significant portion (3+ years) directly supporting Engineering, Product, or Design organizations in a high-growth SaaS environment. A deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is essential, including fluency in concepts such as sprints, technical debt, and code shipping. You should embody our values of Authenticity, Ownership, and Collaboration, and possess an analytical mindset that approaches people operations like an engineer—identifying root causes, building scalable processes, and measuring outcomes.
The base pay range for this position is $116,000 - $174,000.
