Senior Product Designer - Monetization & Personalization
OpenTable is seeking a Senior Product Designer to join our Monetization & Personalization team in Toronto, Canada. This role focuses on designing end-to-end campaign and marketing experiences that enable restaurants to enhance visibility, influence demand, and drive bookings. The position will start remotely, with plans to transition to a hybrid in-office schedule twice a week in downtown Toronto.
As a Senior Product Designer, you will be responsible for shaping systems within a B2B2C ecosystem, building tools that empower restaurants to market effectively while maintaining a trusted, high-quality diner experience. You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, data scientists, and cross-functional stakeholders across both restaurant and diner platforms to deliver scalable, measurable solutions. Your work will involve translating complex marketplace dynamics—such as ranking, availability, pricing signals, incentive structures, and personalization logic—into intuitive, self-serve experiences that increase adoption and performance.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in product design, with a proven track record in B2B2C environments or complex workflows. Strong visual and interaction design skills are essential, along with experience leading and facilitating workshops with cross-functional partners. You should have led end-to-end user research initiatives, including planning, facilitation, and synthesis, to translate findings into intuitive, evidence-based design solutions that directly address user pain points. Proficiency in Figma and other prototyping tools is required.
Compensation for this position ranges from $134,000 to $178,000 CAD annually, including commission and/or bonuses. Benefits include generous paid vacation (20 days) plus time off for your birthday, the ability to work from almost anywhere for up to 20 days per year, company-paid therapy sessions through SpringHealth, a subscription to Headspace, an annual company-wide week off, paid parental leave, paid volunteer time, development dollars, leadership development opportunities, access to thousands of on-demand e-learnings, travel discounts, employee resource groups, private health and dental insurance, and life and disability insurance.
