Senior Product Manager – Extended Workforce Payments

Atlas HXM is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the development of our Extended Workforce Payments products. This role involves building systems from the ground up to manage contractor onboarding, compliance, and global payouts. The successful candidate will navigate complex regulations and payment infrastructures to deliver efficient solutions.

Key responsibilities include end-to-end ownership of new Extended Workforce solutions, focusing on agent of record (AOR) services. The role encompasses managing the contractor lifecycle, including onboarding, classification, contracts, documentation, invoicing, and payouts. The Senior Product Manager will design and scale multi-currency, cross-border payment experiences and collaborate closely with legal, compliance, finance, and operations teams to translate regulatory requirements into product features. Defining and driving core metrics such as activation rates, payment success rates, compliance coverage, revenue, and margin is also essential.

The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years of product management experience, particularly in early-stage or high-growth environments, with a background in building or leading products related to AOR, contractor management platforms, or global payroll and payments. A deep understanding of worker classification, tax forms (e.g., W-9, W-8BEN, 1099 workflows), and cross-border payments is crucial. Proficiency with AI tools and the ability to integrate AI into product experiences are highly valued. Strong system-thinking skills, pragmatism, and the ability to balance speed, risk, and quality are essential.
