Senior QA Automation Engineer
Litify is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our Product & Engineering team. This role is pivotal in leading the adoption of AI-driven testing practices within an agile squad, focusing on enhancing the quality of our legal software built on the Salesforce platform. The ideal candidate will drive the transformation from traditional manual testing to an AI-augmented model, utilizing AI agents for initial test passes and concentrating on reviewing AI-generated results and exploratory testing.
Key responsibilities include championing AI-first QA practices, reviewing and validating AI-generated test results, executing manual test cases, performing targeted exploratory testing, and owning QA strategy and execution for the squad. The role also involves writing and maintaining automated tests in Playwright, leveraging AI development tools to accelerate coverage growth, guiding the QA team on effective AI tool usage, integrating automated tests into our Xray test management repository, managing QA workflow in Jira, and collaborating with Customer Support to triage complex application issues.
The successful candidate will have over 7 years of experience in an automation QA role, a strong enthusiasm for AI-augmented workflows, hands-on experience with AI tools such as Claude or GitHub Copilot in a professional context, and strong critical thinking and judgment skills. Proficiency with Playwright or similar modern automation frameworks, familiarity with Xray or comparable test management tools integrated with Jira, and comfort in a fast-paced Agile/Scrum environment are also required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills across engineering and product teams are essential.
The estimated base salary for this role is $90,000, with potential bonuses and benefits. Compensation decisions are based on qualifications, experience level, skill set, and internal equity relative to peers at the company.
