Senior Sales Development Representative - Austin
Motive is seeking a Senior Sales Development Representative to join our dynamic team in Austin, Texas. As a key member of our Sales Development team, you will be the first point of contact for potential clients, playing a crucial role in identifying and qualifying new business opportunities. Motive empowers businesses in the physical economy with tools to enhance safety, productivity, and profitability, serving a diverse range of industries from transportation and logistics to construction and agriculture.
In this role, you will engage prospective clients through cold calls, emails, and other outbound efforts to identify and qualify leads based on set criteria. Collaborating closely with Account Executives, you will strategize on outreach and deal progression, uncovering prospect pain points and positioning appropriate solutions. Your day-to-day activities will also include scheduling qualified meetings between prospects and Account Executives, staying informed about our products and industry trends, and consistently meeting and exceeding monthly and quarterly pipeline goals.
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree and at least one year of post-graduate experience. A strong work ethic, resilience, and a drive to succeed are essential, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ability to work in a hybrid capacity from our Austin office is required. While prior experience with cold calling or CRM tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot is a plus, a coachable attitude and a team-first mindset are paramount.
