The Senior Sales Operations Analyst at Canonical plays a pivotal role in managing and optimizing sales processes across global channels, including direct, indirect, and online sales. This position is integral to the Revenue Operations team, which focuses on enhancing net customer retention and implementing scalable, repeatable processes to drive revenue growth. Canonical, renowned for developing Ubuntu, is a leader in open-source software solutions, serving a diverse clientele from public cloud providers to industry leaders across various sectors.

Key responsibilities include delivering precise and scalable revenue operations, leading a team of revenue operations analysts, and developing policies and processes that support sales teams and partners. The role involves driving sales engagement, training, data enrichment, customer relationship management, configure price quote processes, analytics, and commission structures. Additionally, the analyst will oversee sales technology and processes, drive automation and process improvements, and collaborate with the commercial systems engineering team to enhance business systems and integration.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a leadership role within Revenue Operations, demonstrating effectiveness in managing direct, channel, and alliance partnerships. A data-driven and analytical approach with high attention to detail is essential. Candidates should possess a strong track record of providing insights through robust CRM and other Revenue Operations technology platforms, data analytics, and compensation systems. An undergraduate degree in a related field, such as Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or Economics, is preferred, along with exceptional communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and influencing skills.
