Senior Social Specialist i WPP Media
As a Senior Social Specialist at WPP Media, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing social media strategies that align with client objectives and WPP Media's guidelines. This position is based in Oslo, Norway, and offers the opportunity to work with some of the company's most significant clients, providing strategic advice and ensuring the execution of agreed-upon activities in collaboration with client teams.
Your primary responsibilities will include planning, executing, optimizing, and analyzing social media campaigns across various platforms. Staying abreast of trends and new technologies in social media is essential, as is contributing to pitch work and new business processes. Additionally, you will proactively engage in strategic and operational initiatives, such as product development and refining ways of working, while collaborating closely with other team members to ensure a holistic approach to campaigns.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in social media consulting and advertising, with a deep technical understanding of social media platforms and their role within the media mix. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are crucial, along with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in Norwegian and English is required, and certifications in relevant platforms are advantageous. Experience in influencer marketing and/or organic content work on social media is also beneficial.
