Senior Software Developer
As a Senior Software Developer at Precisely, you will join a dynamic team dedicated to designing and developing microservices within a hybrid-cloud architecture for the company's Data Integrity Suite, specifically focusing on the Integration portfolio. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely, contributing to innovative solutions that empower businesses to make confident decisions based on trusted data.
In this position, you will take end-to-end technical ownership of product features, encompassing unit-level design, coding, unit testing, and integration testing throughout the full software development lifecycle. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with architects, UX experts, product managers, and fellow developers to design and implement solutions that meet business requirements. Engaging in technical discussions, providing constructive feedback, and participating in peer code reviews are integral aspects of the role.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, along with 4-6 years of experience in Java application design and development. Demonstrable expertise in Java/J2EE, Spring Framework, and cloud technologies within a microservice architecture is essential. Proficiency in writing and consuming REST APIs, familiarity with CI/CD processes, and experience with tools such as Jira, Git, Gradle, and Artifactory are also required. Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, and experience with relational databases and streaming technologies like Kafka will be advantageous.
