Senior Software Engineer -Backend

Pattern is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Backend to join our dynamic engineering team in Pune, India. As a rapidly growing company specializing in accelerating brands on global e-commerce marketplaces through proprietary technology and AI, we are looking for a talented individual to contribute to our innovative solutions and drive our mission forward.

In this role, you will collaborate with development teams to ideate and implement software solutions, design and implement web architecture and mobile-responsive features, develop and manage databases and applications to ensure functionality and reliability, conduct scrums, sprint planning, and retrospectives with US counterparts, and implement continuous integration and deployment processes.

The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in Ruby development with strong object-oriented design skills, a degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field, proficiency in front-end languages and libraries such as HTML/CSS and JavaScript, familiarity with databases like PostgreSQL and MySQL, and experience with DevOps concepts, open-source cloud technologies, and version control systems like Git.
