Jusbrasil is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Backend to join our dynamic team dedicated to transforming the justice system through technology. In this role, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including engineering, product, data, and legal experts—to design, develop, and implement innovative backend solutions. Your contributions will be integral to the evolution of our distributed systems, handling high-scale applications that integrate large language models (LLMs) and AI agents. You will participate actively in technical decision-making processes, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and reliable software solutions.

We are looking for candidates with solid experience in backend development using languages such as Python or Go. Proficiency in building and consuming RESTful APIs, as well as familiarity with asynchronous communication patterns like messaging queues and event-driven architectures, is essential. Experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL, and the ability to work on distributed, high-scale systems are also required. Strong technical communication skills and a collaborative mindset are crucial for success in this role.
