Senior Software Engineer (Financial Systems)
As a Senior Software Engineer on the Finance Engineering team at you will design and develop financial systems using cutting-edge technology to support the company and its business partners. This role involves planning and designing financial (ERP) systems, as well as developing and maintaining infrastructure and solutions for the Finance and Accounting departments and other stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include developing full-stack software across various platforms and technologies, participating in the entire project life cycle from requirements development to deployment, leading architecture, design, implementation, and operational support of tools and services, and contributing to the upcoming ERP implementation. The role also emphasizes exercising good judgment to balance quick development with building robust solutions and collaborating with the team to enhance partner operations.
The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of professional software development experience, strong object-oriented programming skills (with C# being a plus), proficiency in JavaScript with React, experience with SQL and database design, and familiarity with Finance and/or Tax applications. Additional qualifications include experience with unit testing, external-facing APIs, and third-party platform integrations. Leadership capabilities and an interest in taking on technical leadership responsibilities in the future are also desired.
