Senior Software Engineer - India

The Senior Software Engineer position at Disco Discovery in India is an opportunity to join a global legal technology innovator known for leveraging advanced technology to transform the practice of law. In this role, you will design, develop, test, and deploy high-scale, reliable software solutions that support legal professionals in managing complex litigation and investigation processes. Your work will involve solving challenging technical problems, optimizing existing systems, and building new features that bring efficiency and intelligence to Disco products. You will participate in daily stand-ups, code reviews, planning sessions, and work in an agile environment focused on continuous delivery and operational excellence.

Required qualifications include extensive hands-on experience with modern programming languages such as Java, Go, or C++, and a strong background in building distributed systems, backend services, or scalable APIs. A demonstrated ability to solve architectural and operational challenges, experience with cloud computing (especially AWS), and familiarity with containerized environments are critical. A bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field, along with several years of experience in software engineering roles, is preferred.
