Senior Software Engineer
Peregrine Technologies is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our core engineering team in New York, NY. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with design and product management to develop robust, scalable, and user-centered systems. In this role, you will take full ownership of major features, working closely with other engineers to drive them to completion. You will tackle complex challenges such as designing scalable permission systems to manage access to vast amounts of data across numerous organizations. Additionally, you will build intuitive controls for data sharing and architect frameworks for secure collaboration, balancing openness and security to enhance cross-organizational cooperation.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience, and at least 4 years of experience working with cross-functional software development teams. Proficiency in Python, Django, Celery, Airflow, and Kafka for backend development, as well as React, Redux, and Mapbox for frontend development, is essential. Experience with data stores like PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch, and familiarity with AWS, Pulumi, Terraform, and Kubernetes for infrastructure, are also required.
The salary range for this position is $130,000 to $250,000 annually, with additional benefits, equity options, and potential bonuses.
