Senior Solutions Engineer
The Senior Solutions Engineer role at Square involves collaborating with Sales, Account Management, and Partnerships teams to support sellers and partners integrating with Square's platform. This position requires a deep understanding of technical architectures and the ability to advise on suitable Square solutions and integrations. The role is remote, based in the Bay Area, CA, US.
Key responsibilities include partnering with Sales and Account Management to support seller integrations, co-selling Square's Developer Platform, collaborating with the Partnerships team to facilitate partner integrations, and providing ongoing support to strategic sellers and partners. The role also involves gaining an in-depth understanding of the technical architecture and goals of sellers and partners.
The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, Consulting, or related fields. Proficiency in full-stack development, including RESTful APIs and coding, is essential. A proven track record of co-selling complex solutions alongside Sales teams, strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences, and experience working with senior partners and business leaders are required. A willingness to travel for onsite client meetings (10-20%) and experience in SaaS and/or payments industries are also necessary.
