Senior Storage Engineer
Graphcore is seeking a Senior Storage Engineer to oversee the architecture, performance, and management of storage solutions critical to our EDA and HPC workloads. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will contribute directly to our mission of advancing AI compute technologies.
In this role, you will manage and maintain on-premises storage platforms, including Linux-based NFS systems and enterprise storage arrays for both corporate and engineering needs. Responsibilities include deploying and optimizing high-performance storage technologies such as Ceph, Lustre, GPFS, or WEKA to support demanding workloads. You will also automate storage configuration, provisioning, and operational workflows, ensuring reliable data protection and recovery processes.
The ideal candidate will have over five years of experience in storage administration or engineering, with at least three years focused on cloud storage solutions in AWS. Proficiency with enterprise storage platforms like NetApp ONTAP, Pure, DDN, or Dell/EMC is essential. A deep understanding of storage services, particularly NFS, CIFS, S3, and EBS, along with hands-on experience with parallel or scale-out file systems in high-throughput environments, is required. Strong troubleshooting skills across storage, network, and compute boundaries are also necessary.
