Senior Storage Platform Engineer

The Senior Storage Platform Engineer at PlayStation Global will be instrumental in managing and maintaining large-scale distributed Ceph storage solutions. This role is pivotal within Sony Interactive Entertainment's cloud gaming initiatives, aiming to deliver unparalleled gaming experiences to millions of players worldwide.

Key responsibilities include deploying and overseeing Ceph storage systems to ensure high availability and optimal performance. The engineer will troubleshoot and debug storage issues, conduct performance tuning, and continuously enhance data integrity and reliability. Candidates should have experience managing Ceph storage, both object and block, and possess over five years of experience with Linux systems, including networking, configuration, and deployment. Proficiency in industry-standard storage protocols and strong Kubernetes skills are essential. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is required.
