Senior SW Quality Assurance Engineer

As a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of Helsing’s software products, working closely with cross-functional engineering teams to uphold stringent aerospace industry standards.
In this position, you will implement and maintain software quality assurance processes compliant with DO-178C standards, participate in regular audits to identify and address potential non-compliance issues, and support internal Pre-SOI audits. Your daily responsibilities will include collaborating with engineering teams to apply quality standards throughout the software development lifecycle and drafting detailed quality assurance documentation, such as plans, checklists, and compliance reports.
The ideal candidate holds a university degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field, with proven experience in software quality assurance focusing on aerospace industry compliance standards like DO-178C. You should have experience with quality assurance processes for embedded software systems in regulated environments, familiarity with software development life cycle processes for safety-critical systems, and an in-depth understanding of DO-178C guidelines. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment are essential.
