Peregrine Technologies is seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter to join our dynamic team in New York City. This role is integral to our mission, focusing on identifying and attracting top engineering talent to drive our innovative product development.

In this position, you will be responsible for targeting both active and passive candidates through various sourcing channels, utilizing sophisticated search techniques. Your day-to-day activities will include screening resumes, conducting pre-screening interviews to assess qualifications, and partnering with recruiters and hiring managers to enhance efficiency and innovation in our recruitment processes. Additionally, you will nurture high-quality prospects through long-term relationships and implement sourcing strategies to build diverse and robust talent pipelines, ensuring the successful and timely hiring of engineers in alignment with our organizational goals.

The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of identifying top software engineers in the market and demonstrate motivation and intellectual curiosity in proactively seeking optimal solutions. You should have the ability to engage and motivate strong, passive candidates with unique technical opportunities, exhibit a people-oriented approach with a knack for building relationships, and maintain a detail-oriented mindset while effectively executing broader strategic objectives.

We are looking for individuals with over 7 years of technical sourcing or recruiting experience within an in-house team at a high-growth startup. Proficiency in targeting, approaching, and closing passive candidates is essential, along with strong relationship management skills among candidates, teammates, and hiring managers. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, as well as proficiency with applicant tracking systems, preferably Greenhouse. A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is necessary. Candidates must be located in New York City and open to working in the office.

The salary range for this position is $145,000 to $190,000 annually, complemented by benefits, equity options (if applicable), and potential bonuses. Actual compensation will be influenced by factors such as skill set, level of experience, and specific work location.
